LANDLORDS from across North Ayrshire are being invited to a special event to discuss changes in the housing sector.
North Ayrshire Council is hosting the information event at the Greenwood Conference, Irvine on Thursday, May 10 from 6.30-8.30pm.
The private rented sector is three times bigger than it was 15 years ago and has just gone through major legislative changes in terms of physical property and tenancy management standards.
This is an opportunity to learn more about major new developments in the private rented sector that will affect you.
Councillor Jim Montgomerie, Cabinet Member for Place, said: “This event is a great opportunity for landlords across North Ayrshire to get together and network about best practice.
“The Private Sector is a vibrant and growing part of the housing market and we want to make sure that good landlords are recognised for the services they provide.
“We are also keen to ensure that landlords and other interested parties are kept up to date with new legislation and to encourage professional practice across the sector.”
Any interested parties wishing to attend the event should contact North Ayrshire Council’s Private Sector Advice Team by phone on (01294) 324644 or by email at psadvice@northayrshire.gov.uk
