A man who shoplifted from a B&M store and then failed to appear at court is to be sentenced next month.
Jamie Shaw, of Morris Moodie Avenue in Stevenston, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
The 35-year-old pleaded guilty to two charges of theft by shoplifting and one charge of failing to appear at court.
Shaw stole a quantity of cleaning products on two occasions at B&M, Stevenston on August 1 of last year.
Being an accused person, Shaw then failed to turn up for a court diet on March 9, 2018.
The case was adjourned for the court to obtain reports. Shaw will return to the court in Kilmarnock on May 24 for sentencing.
