ARRAN High School Mountain Biking Club has been awarded £7,500 from sportscotland.
The group, based in Lamlash, provides after-school mountain bike activities.
The funding is from National Lottery Awards for All Scotland, a partnership between the Big Lottery Fund Scotland, sportscotland and Creative Scotland.
The programme awards grants from £300 to £10,000 to voluntary and community groups across the country.
Arran High School Mountain Biking Club will use the grant to increase young people’s participation by purchasing suitable equipment.
Robert McNeice, lead teacher at Arran High School Mountain Biking Club, said: “We are delighted to receive the support from sportscotland (Awards for All).
“By receiving this assistance, it enables us to continue to provide an equality of access for all.”
