LIFEBOAT and coastguard crews came to the rescue of two yachts near Ardrossan at the weekend.
Troon lifeboat crew were paged by Belfast Coastguard at 6.34pm on Sunday, May 13 to assist two yachts with engine problems.
Ardrossan Coastguard Rescue Team was also tasked and kept the yachts under observation until the arrival of the lifeboats.
It was established that both vessels had managed to fix the problems on board.
Both yachts were then able to enter Clyde Marina under their own power.
