A STEVENSTON plumber swapped his tools and leaking pipes for drones and sunshine as part of the filming crew for the launch of a new brand.

Tommy Morrison is a creative who uses new technology to make content for different brands, groups and people. The self-employed plumber was recommended by a model he had worked with in the past and new brand ‘Love My Be’ contacted him at the beginning of April about a possible collaboration.

Tommy explained: “I was contacted on Instagram on April 1 by @lovemybe_ who introduced themselves and said that I was recommended to them by a model I had worked with and they asked if I was interested in getting flown out to Ibiza with them for the week on the April 22 to film a commercial and social media content for them.”

The snapper, who has previously filmed the local fireworks in Saltcoats for the Herald, jumped at the chance to go over to the White Isle and he explained what happened.

Tommy said: “After some negotiating, I got my flight and accommodation arrangements emailed out, I was staying in a beautiful massive villa just 10mins outside San Antonio.

“Doing this was a massive step up for me and put me right out my comfort zone but it was great and my girlfriend was so supportive. I was mega nervous but excited about it at the same time... but i knew it was an amazing opportunity.

“I arrived on the Sunday evening in Ibiza and was picked up at the airport and taken to the villa to meet the amazing team of models. All the girls were so friendly and made me feel so comfortable immediately easing my nerves.

“I was doing three shoots a day, sunrise, afternoon and sunset at amazing locations all over the island.. there was no time for partying unfortunately but it doesn’t feel like work when you’re doing what you love.

“This opportunity allowed me to connect with some amazing people and has opened more doors for my filmmaking / photography career, and I will be working with the brand again in the near future.”
