Two-year-old boy knocked down in Saltcoats
A TWO-year-old boy has been hit by a car in Saltcoats.
Police confirmed that they were called to the town's Kerr Avenue shortly before 1.30pm this afternoon (Thursday) after a report of a child being hit with a car.
Traffic police, an ambulance and air ambulance were on the scene but the toddler was not seriously injured following the incident.
Enquiries into the cause of the incident are ongoing at this time.
