Police investigation after man assaulted on bus in Ardrossan
POLICE in the Three Towns have launched an investigation after a man was assaulted on a bus earlier today (Wednesday).
Around 4.25pm, police received a report of a male having been assaulted on a bus on Stanley Road in Ardrossan.
Officers and staff from the Scottish Ambulance Service attended the scene and bus services were delayed due to the incident.
It is not yet clear of any injuries sustained by the male.
Police say enquiries are ongoing into the incident.
