Man guilty of stealing a laptop in Saltcoats
A man has been ordered to pay over £600 in compensation after stealing a laptop from an address in Saltcoats.
Robert McGregor Jones, of Longbar Avenue in Glengarnock, pled guilty to one charge of theft at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
The 48-year-old took the computer from the property on December 26, 2016.
Jones was given a financial penalty of £617.42 and ordered to carry out 70 hours of unpaid work.
