On Saturday, June 9, a big clean-up was held at the Hayocks Community Centre.
Organised and funded by the Tenants And Residents Association, around 25 children took part in the event.
Supported by The Nation’s Favourite Litter Picker, Ian Cassidy, and other adult volunteers 21 sacks of rubbish were collected from around the community centre and Ardchoille Park.
As a reward all the children who participated were treated to a BBQ and a goody bag and were given a certificate.
