Kilwinning street closed off due to ongoing police incident
A man has been arrested following a disturbance in Kilwinning.
Police say there was an alleged violent disturbance at around 11.30am in Kilwinning's Main Street which led officers to an address in Pollock Crecent.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We called at around 11.30am to a disturbance between two men in Main Street, Kilwinning.
"This resulted in a 41-year-old being treated for minor facial injuries which were treated at the scene
"Following enquiries officers attended address in Pollock Crecent, Kilwinning where a 41-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident."
