The annual Marion’s Still Smiling It’s a Knockout competition was as hilariously bonkers as ever this year.

Adults and children had heaps of fun at the Ardrossan Accies ground on Saturday, June 23.

Teams, which consisted of colourful characters, such as superheroes, St Trinian’s schoolgirls, pirates, witches and more, competed among soapy bubbles on giant inflatable obstacle courses.

This year’s event was the fourth of its kind for the charity – and to top off a cracking afternoon, the rain stayed well away.

Marion’s Still Smiling was set up following the death of Marion Callaghan from Saltcoats in 2014. The charity aims to raise funds to give terminally ill cancer patients the opportunity to go on short holidays/mini breaks.
