A STEVENSTON councillor has expressed her delight at helping to solve a long-standing issue in the town’s Hawkhill Drive.
SNP Cllr Davina McTiernan (pictured) said: “For almost three years there had been no light at a dark corner of the lane leading from B&Q to the adjacent houses, causing safety concerns for the residents of the area. After much toing and froing I managed to track down, from a number of possible parties, the path’s owner whose responsible it was to keep the path illuminated. The thank you card from the residents is proudly displayed on my desk!”
