A SALTCOATS woman has had a new lease of life thanks to winning a state-of-the-art pair of hearing aids from Specsavers.
Elizabeth Skinner entered a competition with The Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald recently and was picked as the lucky winner of Phonak B90- Rechargable hearing aids worth £2,895.
She visited the store on Dockhead Street for a hearing check and to be fitted with her new aids.
Teresa Garden, Audiologist at Specsavers Saltcoats, said: “We were very pleased to welcome Elizabeth in to store for her hearing check and she was absolutely delighted to have been drawn as the winner of our competition.
“Having previously suffered from substantial hearing loss, Elizabeth’s quality of life will now be greatly improved thanks to her new aids.”
Specsavers Saltcoats launched a new hearing centre earlier this year following a six-figure investment in the redevelopment of the store. The refurbishment created new jobs and added a new test room and dedicated hearing centre.
