A BEITH man is taking the sweetie world by storm - with his new online confectionary shop Saltire Candy.
28-year-old Stewart Robertson launched the innovative company which offers a vast array of traditional sweet favourites, as well as personalised sweet jars and ribbon bags that make the perfect gift.
The online shop, which features an easy-to-navigate website, has something to suit all taste buds and includes boiled sweets, toffees, caramels, fudges and macaroons.
The personalised Victorian sweet jars and beautifully presented ribbon bags will particularly appeal to those looking for that special gift with a difference.
According to Stuart, who has lived in Beith all his life, Saltire Candy is all about quality and providing a range of great traditional Scottish favourites, many of which are now difficult to buy.
“With Saltire Candy, the aim is to rekindle childhood memories by providing a range of traditional, high quality Scottish sweets,” he says.
“To make it even sweeter, we also offer a personalised confectionery service which make an ideal gift for a birthday, anniversary, or any other special occasion.”
