A trophy in memory of a Beith teenager was recently awarded to two youngsters.
The Bethany Morris Memorial Trophy was presented to Beth Williams of the 2nd Beith Guides and Finlay Toul of the 102nd Beith Scouts.
This award was gifted to both organisations in memory of Bethany by her family.
Bethany, who was a member of both Guiding and Scouts in Beith, sadly passed away on June 1, 2017, after a short battle with cancer.
Beth and Finlay were awarded the trophy as they had shown themselves to have the qualities of a good Guide/ Scout, a hard worker and someone who works well with others within their unit, as well as in the community.
Beth has worked hard over the last year to raise over £350 for MacMillan Cancer Support and Comic Relief.
