BEITH Old People’s Welfare enjoyed their annual trip on a beautiful summer’s day.

A total of 85 senior citizens, including committee members, headed to Edinburgh and enjoyed glorious sunshine.

Ian Allardice, one of the committee members, said: “Thanks go to the two Marbill drivers Ian and Billy and to Maggie for her consistently lovely buses and to R Stalker the butcher for once again supplying the raffle prize which was won by Myra King.

“A good day was had by all.”
