WE have officially launched the 2018 North Ayrshire Community Sports Awards and we don’t want you to waste any time in getting your entries put forward.

The North Ayrshire Community Sports Awards recognises, celebrates and honours the extraordinary achievements of local people who use the power of sport to make a positive impact within their community.

Since their inception in 2015, the awards have gained the respect and support of the sporting community and local community because of our thorough judging process and high calibre awards evening, celebrating the winners and nominees in a range of award categories.

Ayrshire College is again delighted to sponsor the North Ayrshire Community Sports Awards’, 2018 “Young Volunteer of the Year” category. At Ayrshire College’s Skills Centre for Excellence in Irvine, over 200 students annually, studying Sports, Coaching and Fitness, are developing skills to promote and deliver active and healthy lifestyles.

These students are the heartbeat of community sport development throughout North Ayrshire. These awards are a wonderful way to recognise the talent that exists within our own community and as a college we feel very privileged to acknowledge the tremendous amount of work and effort that goes into sport within North Ayrshire.”
