THERE were some remarkable sights as everyone from Worzel Gummidge to the Hulk visited West Kilbride for its annual Scarecrow Festival.
The event involves an assortment of the hay-filled figures being perched on various shops and properties around the town.
Five-year-old James Arrol dressed as The Hulk while David McMillan headed up the parade as McWurzel – although there was no sign of Aunt Sally.
Lots of children made a scarecrow on a stick for the parade.
There was also a West Sound stage which included Some Wimmin Drummin, the Village Folk Band and a ukulele group, making sure the festival was loud and proud.
