A Saltcoats resident raised £190 with a nautical-themed party held in her garden.
Eve Stenhouse’s annual garden party took place on Saturday, August 4 at the pensioner’s home in Christie Gardens. The event raised funds for the British Heart Foundation and the British Lung Foundation in support of Eve’s brother, 88-year-old retired diver James Sinclair.
Eve said: “It was a lovely day, it was magic. We were lucky with the weather.
“We want to thank everyone who came along.”
