THE Ardrossan to Dalry Road has re-opened following a crash involving a motorbike.
Police confirmed that the B780 at the top of Dalry Road in Ardrossan at the Chapelhill Roundabout was open again following the accident.
It is understood that an accident involving a motorbike has resulted in one man being taken to hospital.
The extent of the man's injuries are not yet known.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 11.35am today to attend an incident near the B780 Dalry Road in Adrossan.
“One ambulance was dispatched to the scene and one male patient was taken to University Hospital Crosshouse.”
