A second person is set to appear in court today (Friday) charged with the murder of Ardrossan woman Annalise Johnstone.
Police in Tayside confirmed that a 28-year-old had been arrested and charged and is expected to appear at Perth Sheriff Court.
Annalise's body was found at the side of the road of the B8062 between Auchterarder and Dunning back in May of this year.
24-year-old Jordan Johnstone, Annalise's brother, previously appeared in court charged with the alleged murder of the Ardrossan woman.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Police Scotland can confirm that the 28-year-old woman arrested in connection with the alleged murder of 22-year-old Annalise Johnstone has now been charged.
2She is expected to appear at Perth Sheriff Court today (Friday 7 September).
"A 24-year-old man was charged in connection with the alleged murder in May 2018.
"Annalise Johnstone’s body was found in a wooded area at the roadside of the B8062 between Auchterarder and Dunning on Thursday 10 May."
