TWO local veterans were invited to local radio station 3TFM to discuss the upcoming Three Towns projects live on air with station manager Louis Ferguson.
Paul Coffey and Suzanne Fernando spoke about topics including the Armed Forces Covenant, Thank You campaign, WW1 Film Project, Time Capsule Project, Bonfire Night, Festival of Remembrance and the Armistice Parade. Referr ing to this year’s Remembrance Sunday parade in the Three Towns,
Paul and Suzanne said: “This is a once in a lifetime chance and never to be repeated opportunity to participate in something very special.
“Please remember there are 525,600 minutes in this year, we are asking you on November 11 at 11am to spend two of those minutes reflecting and remembering those who paid the price so that we can enjoy the remaining 525,598 in peace and freedom. Cheers and a massive thank you to those who have, are, and will be, helping, supporting and participating.”
