LEGENDARY Troon bowler Paul Foster has had yet another top honour bestowed upon him in an already illustrious career on Saturday.
He was inducted into the Scottish Indoor Bowling Association Hall of Fame at a glittering ceremony in Glasgow, which he attended with wife Pamela.
Paul has won a total of 11 World Indoor Championships titles, including six singles titles and earlier this year he won the Scottish Singles title.
The player, based at Prestwick, has also been a huge success outdoors and won his fourth Commonwealth Games gold medal in Australia back in April.
He is rated as one of the all-time greats in the sport.
Overjoyed Foster said: "It's great to be recognised by the sport and these awards mean just as much to me as winning events. They are really quite special and thanks to everyone for honouring me." I'm in great company as so many top players are in the Hall of Fame, including Darren Burnett, who was voted in with me on Saturday."
Meanwhile the Scottish Indoor League started on Saturday.
