A truck overturned into an embankment outside Dalry last night (Thursday, October 4).
The driver was uninjured in the incident, which happened at around 6pm on the B780 West Kilbride Road.
Firefighters and police attended, and the road was closed for around 30 minutes while the vehicle was recovered.
A spokeswoman from Police Scotland said that officers were called at 6.10pm.
The spokeswoman also confirmed that the driver managed to exit the overturned vehicle himself and had "no visible injuries".
There were no other vehicles involved.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 6.12pm on Thursday, October 4 to reports of a road traffic collision in Dalry.
“Operations Control mobilised three fire engines to the town’s B780, where firefighters provided treatment to one casualty before transferring him into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“The casualty was then transported to Kilmarnock’s Crosshouse Hospital.
“Firefighters made the area safe before leaving the scene.”
