Winton Primary’s cheerio to janitor Derek
PUPILS and staff at Winton Primary said goodbye to their favourite janitor Derek Quinn as he left for a new job.
A special farewell assembly, on Tuesday, October 2, was held for Derek, who is affectionately known within the Ardrossan school as ‘The Mighty Quinn’.
The assembly featured video messages from pupils and photos from Derek’s 11 years working at Winton.
