Police are looking for a man after a car was stolen from a driveway in Ardrossan.

The orange Ford Focus was snatched from an address in Oak Road at around 1.20am on Thursday, October 11. The registration on the vehicle was SV06UZJ and the direction of travel is unknown.

The theft was captured on CCTV. The suspect is male and can be described only as wearing dark clothes.

Police Constable Craig Cathie Locality Officer for Ardrossan said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have seen this distinctive coloured vehicle being driven around the time and date of this incident.

“I would also like to encourage anyone who has a Dash Cam on their vehicle and would have been driving in the North Ayrshire and Renfrewshire area in the early hours of 11/10/2018 to review their cameras in case they have captured this vehicle.

“Officers will be continuing door to door and CCTV enquiries over the coming days.”
