TWO people were rushed to hospital after an early morning collision in Troon.

A silver Volvo S40 collided with a wall on Beach Road, Barassie, around 12.35am on October 18.

Two people were rushed to Ayr Hospital with injuries following the incident.

Sergeant Kevin Blackley, Irvine Road Policing Unit, said: “The car was observed on the following roads during the course of the evening: Portland Street, Templehill, Harbour Road, Port Randle Drive, Jubilee Road and North Shore Road, all Troon.

"We are appealing for anyone who was in the area last night who may have seen the car before the incident took place to get in contact with us.

“We’d also ask anyone in the area with dash-cam footage or CCTV footage to get in touch as you may have information that can help us, particularly in the North Shore Road area of the town.”
