A woman has been fined £450 after an assault on an ex-friend.
Sarah Masterton of Main Street, Muirkirk, committed the assault on January 1 of this year.
The incident that took place in The Coach House Inn, Furnace Road in Murikirk, involved Masterton and one of her old friends.
Tension were said to be high in the pub before she grabbed the woman by the hair and pulled her to the ground which sparked a large-scale scene at the location.
Police were informed, and Masterton was arrested the following day.
Sherriff Scott Pattison ordered the accused to pay £250 to the victim in compensation and a further £200 in relation to the incident.
