A DALRY takeaway has raised £500 for charity with a special day.
Last Thursday, Zain’s Curry House held a Think Pink event in aid of Cancer Research UK with staff dressing up in aid of the charity. And £1 from every order was donated to the cause.
Khurum from Zain’s told the Herald: “The girls in the shop and my wife made cupcakes and they were selling them up at The Cross and people were buying them and making donations.
“We gave £1 from every order to charity and family and friends chipped in at the end of the night to round the amount up to £500.”
