Child allegedly hit by firework: teen arrested
Police have arrested a teenager in connection with an incident where a child was allegedly struck with a firework.
The Herald recently reported that a nine-year-old girl was allegedly struck on the head with a firework in Knox Place, Saltcoats, on November 5.
Inspector Colin Convery confirmed today that an 18-year-old man from Saltcoats has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
