Woman charged with drink driving after Saltcoats crash
A WOMAN is due to appear in court charged with alleged drink driving following a crash in Saltcoats.
Around 7.30pm last night (Tuesday), a car with a driver and two passengers crashed into a lamppost and hit another vehicle in the town's Jacks Road.
The Herald understands that at least one person was taken to hospital but later released.
A 43-year-old woman is set to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court today (Wednesday) charged with alleged drink driving and other road traffic offences.
