A CELTIC star will join a city playwright to turn on the city's House of Fraser Christmas lights.

Hoops ace Kieran Tierney will join Tony Roper on Thursday to light up the Buchanan Street store.

The event is in aid of the Clydebank's St Margaret of Scotland Hospice, with all money raised going towards the charity.

The event will begin at 7pm with the lights set to be turned on at 8pm.

A spokesman for the store said: “I am honoured that Kieran Tierney and Tony Roper are giving up their time to help us switch on the iconic Fraser’s Christmas light’s all in aid of St Margaret’s Hospice Charity in Clydebank.

“This local charity holds a space in a lot of our staff members hearts and we are looking forward to raising as much money as possible for the Charity and giving our customers a fantastic evening to remember."
