A PRIMARY school has been left "absolutely gutted" after it was trashed by vandals.
Staff and pupils at Haghill Park Primary returned from the weekend to find its poly tunnel, which is used to grow fruit and vegetables, had been damaged.
It appears the vandals ripped the tunnel open and used it to drink in at some point over the weekend.
Absolutely gutted to see the damage that has been done to our poly tunnel over the weekend. We do not have the funds to fix this and are horrified that anyone would want to vandalise our wee school. Any information would be greatly received đŸ˜¢ pic.twitter.com/ysCc5Is6MT

"We do not have the funds to fix this and are horrified that anyone would want to vandalise our wee school. "Any information would be greatly received."
Police Scotland confirmed it was investigating the incident.
