FIVE concerts held in Saltcoats have helped raise money for a number of good causes.
And Joanne Lowey, sister of tragic Tony Lowey who united the local community when he went missing last year, plans on doing it all again next year.
‘Missing’ was held over five Sundays in the Labour Club, Saltcoats and bands travelled from far and wide to support Joanne, partner Andy Black and the families of those missing people still out there.
A total of around £1,400 was raised for the Tony Lowey fund and Missing People.
Recipients of the cash include the family of Lisa Brown, funding for two benches, one for Tony and one for Scott Driver, the North Ayrshire Foodbank, the Saltcoats Swap Shop, the family of Allan Bryant, K9 Search and Recovery and many more.
Joanne would like to thank everyone for their kind donations to raffle prizes throughout the five weeks, to all the families for turning up and support the concerts and the acts for taking their time to play to the crowds of Saltcoats.
