Firefighters battle house blaze in Stevenston
AT least one person has been taken to hospital after a fire at a house in Stevenston this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the town's Garven Road this afternoon (Tuesday) shortly after 3pm following reports of a fire within a property there.
Sources say that numerous fire engines, ambulances and police vehicles were in attendance.
Police confirmed that one person has been taken to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment but the extent of injuries are not yet known.
