THE annual quiz for Primary 7s in the Garnock Valley took place earlier this month with one school coming out on top as clear winners.
Organised by Garnock Valley Rotary Club for the seven primary schools in Garnock Valley, the quiz was held on November 14 and hosted by Dalry PS Head Teacher Mrs Kirsty Carson.
The clear winners this year were Gateside Primary School. Beith Primary were runners-up, and Moorpark and St Bridget's only one and two points behind them.
The winning team were accompanied by Gateside Depute Head Mrs Catriona Logan. The winning school received £100 cheque and a salver which is held for a year.
The winners themselves receive vouchers and a small shield each, and the runners-up a voucher each. All 28 contestants received a Dictionary.
Congratulations to the winners from all at the Herald.
