CUNNINGHAME Housing Association hosted representatives from the North Ayrshire Violence Against Women Partnership last week to support the annual White Ribbon Campaign.

The main aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the suffering faced by many women and how we all have part to play in preventing it from happening again.

Frank Sweeney, Chief Executive of Cunninghame Housing Association said: “It is important that we all stand alongside girls and women to send out the strong message that Violence Against Women will not be tolerated.”

Cunninghame staff were able to sign the pledge to never to commit, excuse or remain silent about male violence against women and to receive a White Ribbon pin - a symbol of opposition to violence against women.
