PUPILS at St Palladius Primary have been designing and creating their own houses.
Claire, Katie and Corine from Ashleigh Buildings came in to speak to the whole school about health and safety on a construction site, as they are currently building Watt Court in Dalry.
Every week over Term 2, the Ashleigh team came in to St Palladius to work with P3/4. The Dalry youngsters have learnt how buildings are made, from the architect’s floor plans to choosing the appropriate building materials the children then designed and built their dream houses.
They have had a fantastic time creating their houses and have learnt so much about the design and construction of buildings.
What a brilliant experience for them.
