A Kilwinning school held a special assembly to celebrate gaining a top award from sportscotland.
Whitehirst Primary hosted the celebration event after receiving a Gold School Sport Award.
Louise Johnstone, depute head at Whitehirst Primary, said: “We invited along Kilwinning Sports Club and our Active Sports coordinators.
“A lady called Jane Leavey she came along and awarded us with our gold flag and certificate. We were all absolutely delighted. At the assembly, we showcased some of the things we did to get the award, such as dancing and gymnastics. It was great. We got the big flag which we will be putting up in the New Year.”
