Youngsters at an Irvine Primary School are kicking off the new year in style – thanks to a new state-of-the-art adventure playground.
Senior pupils at Annick Primary can now enjoy more active playtimes after the school got enough funding to install a new £8,500 activity trail and climbing frame.
Classes from primaries 4 to 7 will now get to enjoy the brand new facility which was installed just before Christmas.
The school used £4,500 from money raised at its annual sponsored walk.
The other £4,000 came from the Tesco Community Fund which the school won after shoppers at the supermarket’s Riverway store voted for them to come out on top.
