THE Herald received this old Ardrossan class photo from an anonymous member of the public recently.
The owner of the picture enclosed a note saying that it depicts Ardrossan Central School’s P7 class in 1940.
According to the note, the following people are in the picture: Miss Grant, Simon Smith, Tommy Courtney, Joe Tracey, Berhar Barusnahuan, Joe McQuad, Peligrini, E McGinn, Andrew Kelly, Mary McKernon, Janey McGoogan, James Watt, David McNamara, Harry McNaNamar, Mary McLaughlin, Margaret Tumelty, Anne Burns, Cathy Rice, Isa Donnelly, Patsy Brodie, Margaret McCann, Anne Welsh, Nan Smith, Liz Andeerson, Margaret Harvey, Maisie Townsley, Isobel McNamara.
