Children at Winton Primary School in Ardrossan celebrated Scotland’s Bard with a Burns ceilidh last Friday (January 25).
As well as enjoying the traditional ‘haggis, neeps and tatties’ supper, the P7 pupils performed verses in Old Scots and danced to Scottish music.
The P7s have been learning about Robert Burns in class and wrote their own Immortal Memories in preparation for their event.
The Immortal Memories written by pupils Lleyton James Hales and Eden Crosthwaite were chosen to be read out at the ceilidh.
