Irvine man jailed for causing ex-girlfriend fear and alarm
A man who hung around a street to the fear and alarm of his ex-girlfriend has been jailed for five months.
Craig Smith, of Irvine’s Hunter Avenue, engaged in a course of conduct which caused the woman fear and alarm between August 10 and 15 of last year.
He repeatedly attended a street in Kilmarnock in a vehicle, loitered there and drove slowly passed the woman’s home.
Smith, 25, pled guilty to one charge at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
He was placed on a non-Harassment Order and jailed for 20 weeks.
