A COMMUNITY link-up has been announced between Winton Primary School and North Ayrshire Foodbank’s Community Cinema project.
The Winton Family Film Forum
are delighted to announce their first film night and the partnership has
been funded by “Impact: Funding partners”.
Thanks to the support of Mrs Bell, head teacher of Winton Primary school, parents have formed the forum alongside senior pupils to bring the big screen cinematic hits to Ardrossan.
It provides an extra opportunity to see great films in addition to the weekly showings on a Saturday at the Ardrossan Church of the Nazarene.
The Forum will be hosting a series of films over the next 12 months as well as a mini-film festival on March 23, 2019.
Details will be on the school Twitter and Facebook pages later.
The doors open at 5.30pm with the film starting at 6pm and will be a PG film suitable for all.
This is a community event hosted in the school with no entry fee.
Whilst there is no cash paid to attend this is the Foodbanks “Film for Food” project and they request a tin of custard be donated.
A full range of cinematic food will be available for sale including popcorn, hot dogs, slushie drinks, milkshakes, freshly made ice-cream as well as a range of crisps, chocolates and hot and cold drinks.
Enquiries about the evening’s showing can be made via the
Twitter page or by texting 07411113126.
