A MAN was taken to hospital after he came off his motorbike following a crash in Kilwinning on Sunday afternoon.
Dalry Road was closed off for two hours on Sunday after the incident involving a male motorcyclist and a car.
Police say enquiries into the incident are still ongoing.
A police spokesperson said: "At about 12.20pm on Sunday, March 3 Police Scotland received the report of a two-vehicle collision, involving a car and a motorcycle, at Dalry Road, Kilwinning and roads policing officers attended the scene.
"The male motorcyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment to a foot injury.
"No other persons were injured, the road was reopened about 2.20pm and officers are continuing enquiries into the incident."
