A SALTCOATS snapper is officially the best in the country after picking up a prestigious award last week.
Emma Sanderson fought off 42 other photographers from across Scotland to be named Scottish Wedding Photographer of the year 2019 at the Scottish Wedding Awards.
Held in Glasgow, the awards celebrate all things wedding and this was the second time Emma had been up for a gong.
She explained: “I was absolutely blown away with this award. I cannot thank my clients enough. I absolutely love my job and sharing in someone’s special day. I love every part of a wedding and to give my clients their memories to last forever is a complete honour. I have been photographing weddings for over 16 years and this must be the highlight of my career.
“I would like to thank all my brides and grooms for voting for me, this nomination came as a complete shock. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
“I would also like to thank my mum and dad, husband David and my daughter Charlotte for their support.”
