Pupils and staff at Mayfield Primary were delighted to achieve their Gold School Sport Award.
The Lottery-funded accolade, from sportscotland, helps schools to increase young people’s opportunities in PE and sport.
Mrs Murray, acting P6 teacher at Mayfield Primary School, said: “We’re a big school for celebrating sports. We run a lot of after-school clubs and we take any opportunity we can to compete with any other schools.
“It’s a whole school effort and we’re delighted to achieve it.”
