On Sunday, March 24 RSPB Lochwinnoch will be throwing open their doors and offering a range of free activities for all the family.

Fancy trying your hand at pond dipping and see what marvellous beasties you can find lurking in the depths?

See what birds you can identify at the woodland feeding station. Walk the fairy trail and keep your eyes peeled for a glimpse of the magical folk living in the woods.

What about a treasure hunt? They’ve got you covered.

And if, after all that, you find the kids still have some unspent energy, then let them unleash their inner wild thing in their natural play area.

The Open Day will take place from 11am-3pm.

RSPB Lochwinnoch is one of the few remaining wetland sites in south and west Scotland, and is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI).
