APPLICATIONS are now open for this year’s North Ayrshire Council Grass Cutting Scheme.
The service is for residents who are unable to cut their grass or hedges themselves. The scheme covers the cutting of grass of an area no bigger than 150 square metres and hedges where they border a path.
The number of gardens the council can include on the scheme is limited and so applications are accepted on a first come first served basis.
Applicants must live at the property where the work is required and have no physically able person living there who could carry out the work.
The charge for the service is £80 including VAT.
Contact North Ayrshire Council via their website or call 01294 310000 to find out more about the grass cutting scheme.
