Kilwinning pupils were presented with prizes after the town's annual Burns Club competition.
Pupils gathered at the No 0 club for the annual Kilwinning Burns Club Founders Day competition and performed poems to an exceptionally high standard.
Primary 1,2 and 3 winner was Willow Travers from Pennyburn Primary who recited The Crocodile.
Primary 4 and 5 winner was Jonathan Smith from St Winnings Primary who recited To A Mouse.
Primary 6 and 7 winner was Rebecca McDonald from St Lukes Primary who recited Address To The Toothache.
The John Kilpatrick trophy was won by Mason Boyd from Blacklands Primary for his recital of "Willie Wastle."
President Scott Gallacher said: "We had a full house on the day, the standard was exceptionally high this year, and this can only bode well for the future.
"The club would like to thank the parents and grandparents for getting the kids along on the day, and we're sure we'll be seeing a lot of them again next year. The winners themselves will be invited along to perform at our annual Burns supper in February.
"We also gave out four cheques to local charities on Saturday, Kilwinning Orchestral Flutes, The Girl Guides, The Boys Brigade, and the local Scout group.
